tilepy.include.RankingObservationTimes.VisibilityWindow(ObservationTime, Pointing, obspar, dirName)[source] [edit on github]#

Compute visibility windows and zenith angles for each pointing.

Parameters:
  • ObservationTime (datetime.datetime) – The time to compute visibility for.

  • Pointing (astropy.table.Table) – Table with pointing information (columns: ‘Time’, ‘RA[deg]’, ‘DEC[deg]’).

  • obspar (object) – Observation parameters (must have ‘duration’, ‘maxZenith’, ‘location’).

  • dirName (str) – Output directory name.

Returns:

Pointing – The input Table with added columns: ‘Observation window’, ‘Array of zenith angles’, ‘Zenith angles in steps’.

Return type:

astropy.table.Table
